Ellison/Chelsie and other family members: I am so sorry to hear of Miriam's passing. She has always been a favorite of mine, especially when she worked at Blount Furniture. I always wanted her to assist me when I went there. She was so very sweet and always wore a smile. Of course, she was also in my family (through marriage) and every time we were ever together, I really enjoyed her. I know you took good care of her in her last days and I am sure she will be missed by all of you. She was a lovely lady.

I am your cousin Pat, your Dad's sister Lydie was my Mother. Please know that I admired your Mother for staying in touch with my parents long after your Dad was gone. She was a beautiful lady. I haven't seen you since I was about 12. I was pleased to read that you have a nice family. Your Dad still has brothers alive. One here in Charleston. My best wishes to you and your family that will miss her. I would like to hear from you.

I had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Miriam from her Blount Furniture Company days and at the Kingstee Nursing Facility. She was a beautiful woman, physically, mentally and spiritually. I will miss her smiling (always make up on) face.
