Mr. Kenneth Ray "Kenny" Wilkes  E-mail to Friend

  Kenny Wilkes

Mr. Kenneth Ray “Kenny” Wilkes, 56, husband of Renita Bailey Wilkes, died Thursday, December 15, 2011, at his residence.

     Mr. Wilkes was born August 29, 1955, in Lake City, a son of the late Mary Ann Knotts Wilkes and Donald Reese Wilkes. He graduated from Kingstree High School and was a self-employed mechanic. Kenny was an avid NASCAR fan and a great fisherman.

     Surviving, in addition to his wife Renita, of Kingstree, are: 4 brothers, David (Linda) Wilkes, of Ladson, Tony (Karen) Wilkes, of Pamplico, Terry (Tammy) Wilkes, of Cades and Allen (Kim) Wilkes, of Kingstree; and 3 sisters, Linda (David) Hanniford, of New Zion, Vicki (Randy) Haselden, of Greeleyville, and Donna (Clay) Matthews, of Kingstree.

      Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the Kingstree Second Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Williamsburg Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Kingstree Second Baptist Church, 20 Dennis Avenue, Kingstree, SC 29556.
