Edith Baker Hucks |Y-m-d H:i:s

Dear Paula & Jenny,

Warren was a dear friend to both my late husband & myself. He was a pallbearer at my husband's (Plexie Baker) funeral in 1999. He was truly a wonderful gentleman & I enjoyed the times we shared visiting with him & Bea at the Health Dept. I had the pleasure of seeing him @ Brown's BBQ a number of years ago and he was so proud of Jenny's accomplishments in home decor!
Please know that he has been in my prayers while fighting this devastating disease. May the Lord bring both of you and the resto of the family His comfort and peace. It is a blessing to know that he is now at peace and with His Lord & Savior.

With Love,
Edith Baker Hucks

I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. At times, the loss can seem unbearable. The Bible teaches: "God is near to those broken at heart." and it also says: "Throw your burden upon God himself and he himself will sustain you." (Psalm 34:18 and 55:22) I hope this message will offer comfort in your time of sadness.

To all of the Kellahan family I wish to express my sorrow for your loss of Warren. We were the same age, Warren being 5 days older than me. I particularly remember Ms. Lemyra trying to teach Warren and me piano lessons as children. We were way to impatient to learn and always ready to go outside and play. He was a good guy way back then and I'm sure he was to the end. May God be with you and comfort you.

Dear Kellahan Family:

Allow me to express my most sincere condolences on learning of the passing away of Warren.

"Wrang" as we called him at The Citadel was a warm and wonderful human being. Early after we graduated, he and I spent alot of time together. Unfortunately life gets in the way and we did not see each other as much.

None-the-less, I considered him to be a very dear friend for life. I will miss him every day. God Bless you and yours.

Sincerely;
Bud (Bone) Boyne

Sorry for the loss. He was a great caring loving person. He always had a kind word for me and the boys when he would pass them in the halls at WA or pushing Wayne to do his best on the football field. We may have lost a great man but God gained a true Angel to watch over us on our life journey.

Stan Welch  - classmate and friend |Y-m-d H:i:s

Warren was a classmate of mine in K Company at the Citadel. He was a steady and reliable guy who always pulled his weight and then some. Sorry to hear of his illness and passing, but I have no doubt he conducted himself with courage and dignity throughout his passage. My condolences to his widow and family. Good man gone.

Paula - while we never met, I wanted you to know how highly I thought of Warren. He and I roomed together our senior year at The Citadel, and some of my fondest memories occurred during that year with him and his family! I'm sure you came to realize during your marriage what a special person he is,and I'm sure you will hear a lot of the same from friends who knew him for many years.

One of our many regrets in this lifetime is our failure to stay in contact with friends we have made over the years. Indeed, that is the case with me as it relates to Warren.

Warren is in a better place, but you are a better person for having known him the way you did. I'm sure the void you now feel is almost unbearable, but just know that the one thing no one will ever be able to take from you are your memories of your time with Warren. That is also the case with me!

God bless you, Paula, as you face the days ahead!

Phil and Gayle Stoll  - Sincere condolences |Y-m-d H:i:s

Our very sincere condolences to the family. We regret we were unable to attend the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Gayle and Phil Stoll.

Heyward Baker  - So sorry for your loss |Y-m-d H:i:s

Please accept my sincerest condolences in the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. This is a great loss on so many levels. Warren was loved by so many people in our community and he will be missed. His suffering and his fight with a horrible disease is over. If there is anything that I could ever do, please let me know. We love you and may God bless your loving families!

John R. Baer  - K Co Citadel Classmate and Friend |Y-m-d H:i:s

Paula and family, faith tell me that Warren will continue to watch over his family and friends from a better place. My friendship and memories of him start as young cadets at The Citadel, and during our occasional "bumps into each other" over the years since. I have always had great respect for the the gracious Kingstree manner he treated people. I trust God has designs for him since he left us far too early.
