We are so saddened to hear the news. Ken was such a special person. I am so thankful these last few weeks I have got to see and talk with him more. We were working on our class reunion and he was so excited about seeing everyone. He was just in my office last week wanting to know who all was coming. I for one will truly miss him and his spot will be sorely missed on August 20th. We are praying for you and the family now. Love you.

Nancy Evans Holladay  - Condolenses |Y-m-d H:i:s

I was very sorry to hear of Ken's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I worked with GTE Verizon for 29 years and our crews worked with other telephone crews from local companies such as FTC over the years. We were more like family than co-workers & Ken was a big part of that. We all thought a great deal of Ken. He will be missed by all of us.

Pat & Robert James |Y-m-d H:i:s

Maryanne, We are so sorry to hear about the death of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Harry Gordon |Y-m-d H:i:s

Cheryl, Ken really made my day when we got to work together. Even when the work was cold, hot, dirty, & stressful, Ken would say something like what a way to make a living. We would often talk about our families, church, & job. I know he loved you and the rest of your family. You are in my thoughts and my prayers. If there is any thing good about his death, he was ready to meet his Savior and in some ways I am jealous he is with his Lord and I am not. Life will not be the same without my friend, he will be missed so much. I hope you will call on me for anything I can help with.
Love & prayers,
Harry & Vicky Gordon

My thoughts have been with you this week. It is so hard to lose someone you love so suddenly. Ken Baker was one sweet guy!! Even though I did not see him that much I know how happy he was to have his grandkids here in town- so that was a blessing, Merianne. I know you are glad that you had these years with him.

Donna Phillips-Frontier Commun  - May God Comfort You |Y-m-d H:i:s

Although I only worked with Ken a short time as a dispatcher for Frontier Communications, Ken was always pleasant and willing to do anything that I called upon him to do. He would tell me "I am out here to make a living". Someone who is with a company for over 39 yrs is someone who loves what they do and takes pride of their work, such as what Ken was doing.
Please know others share in your memory of someone very dear.
Thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Donna Phillips, Norwalk, OH

Ken will be truly missed. He was more than a co-worker. He was a true friend, always ready to listen to your complaints with a smile. He was very proud of his family and spoke of them all the time. Ken was the best fishing companion ever, we shared so much on these trips. I will always remember and treasure those times we spent together. He was special to me. Please do not fail to call on me for anything that you might need, anything at all.
